WOMEN IN THE PERSPECTIVE OF AL-QUR'AN

Abstract

Gender issues are issues that are often raised by women,
with a variety of issues. Starting from the issue of gender
equality, women's emancipation, to equality in equal rights
between men and women. These issues arose due to the
inappropriate treatment experienced by women during the
pre-Islamic civilization. Subsequently, Islam came with the
principle of equality and balance between men and women,
thus presenting proper and fair treatment, both for men and
women. Therefore, this paper presents a comprehensive
explanation of the Qur'anic perception of the existence of
women, from their origins to their rights, with the title
"Women in the Qur'anic Perspective."
